3rd Athens Video Art Festival

The third edition of the International Festival of Digital Arts and New Media, Athens Video Art Festival, took place in April 2007 at the cultural multispace Technopolis of Municipality of Athens.More than 1200 artists both from Greece and abroad submitted their artworks, and more than 11000 visitors honored it with their presence.In the context of it, apart from the categories of Video Art, Video Installations, Installation Art and Performance Art, the festival presented some of the most important festivals from abroad: Transmediale (Germany), In Video (Italy), Anima (Argentina), Loop (Spain) and 59 Seconds (U. S. A.). After the end of the screenings VJ – DJ sets took place with special guests: Nikitas Klint, Elica, Naono & Melorman, Barbara’s Straight Son, Giannis Tsorvas (unplugged), Glasshopper (VJ Set).
