2nd Athens Video Art Festival

The second edition of the International Festival of Digital Arts and New Media, Athens Video Art Festival, took place in April 2006 at the cultural multispace Aggelon Vima.More than 600 artists both from Greece and abroad submitted their artworks, and more than 2800 visitors honored it with their presence. In the context of it, apart from the categories of Video Art, Video Installations, Installation Art and Performance Art, the festival presented some of the most important festivals from abroad: Transmediale (Germany), Vaia (Spain), File (Brazil), Loop (Spain) and Con Can (Japan). After the end of the screenings VJ – DJ sets took place with special guests: K. Vita, Nikitas Klint, Anna Mystic, Elica, Chroleto, Nesco, Rental, THC Sound System, Grashopper, Damian VS Greek Salad and Out of Time.
